1. What kind of sessions do you offer?

I offer personalized, one-on-one online mentorship sessions on animation, and offer consultation and advice on career paths in the animation industry. Depending on your needs, we might review your demo reel, plan shots, analyze references, give rig feedback, or just talk through tips and tricks to help you grow. Sessions are always tailored to you.

2. I don’t know how to animate yet, can I book?

My sessions are designed for those who are already studying animation, working in the industry, or looking to grow their existing skillset. That said, you’re absolutely welcome to book a consultation if you’re just starting out. We can talk through your goals, where to begin, and how to move forward. You can also book multiple sessions if you’d like ongoing guidance as you start out.

3. Do you teach a specific animation software?

I like to let you work in whatever software you’re most comfortable with. Feedback is usually given through online platforms like SyncSketch, where I can draw notes directly over your uploads (animatics, animation shots, video reference, etc.).

That said, I work most efficiently in Maya and can offer more in-depth tips and guidance if that’s your chosen software.

4. How long is a session?

Each Focused Mentorship session is up to 40 minutes long. Sessions will always start on time. Please note that if you are unable to join the session within the first 10 minutes, this will be considered a no-show and the session is automatically cancelled.

TIP: I highly recommend including a link of your shot, or information on what you want to get out of the mentorship during the booking process to help me prepare and setup the session effectively.

5. How do I book?

• Choose your time and complete payment to lock in your spot.

• Payment needs to be made to complete the booking.

• Once that’s done, you’ll get a confirmation email with all the details.

6. How do payments work?

Payments are handled securely through Stripe.

• Prices are listed in USD and are inclusive of taxes

• Payments are generally non-refundable, but see the cancellation policy below for details.

7. Can I cancel or reschedule?

Life happens! Here’s how it works:

• Cancel 24+ hours before your session → full refund.

• Cancel within 24 hours → no refund.

• Need to reschedule? You can do so up to 24 hours before your session (subject to availability).

• If you don’t show up within 10 minutes of the start time, it counts as a cancellation.

• If I ever need to cancel, you’ll get a new time or a full refund — your choice.

8. How do I show you my animation?

The best way is to copy your SyncSketch link and paste it in the form during booking. This way, you get my notes live, and the review process is seamless.

9. Can I record the session?

No recordings, screenshots, or sharing session content unless we both agree in writing. You’re welcome to take personal notes for your own use, though.

10. Will this mentorship guarantee me a job?

I’ll share my experience, feedback, and advice to help you improve — but I can’t promise specific results like a job offer or promotion. How you apply the guidance is up to you.

11. What do I need for the session?

Please make sure you have:

• A stable internet connection

• A microphone

• A webcam (optional, but recommended)

If tech issues happen on your side, I won’t be able to reschedule or refund, so it’s best to test your setup beforehand.

12. Is there an age requirement?

Yes — you need to be 18 or older to book. If you’re under 18, I’ll need written consent from a parent or guardian before we can schedule. This can be sent through my contact page.
